Enjoyed my past shows this week at Java Cabana, Eclipse Coffee & Books, and at Fair Grinds Coffeehouse. I just crossed into Texas for this week's shows at Fralo's in San Antonio and two nights at Adair's Saloon in Dallas. Much warmer this time in contrast to the winter storm during my last round of shows. Hope to see my Texan friends out at the shows.
Had a great time playing shows in Florida the past week. The video posted is a performance of Stealing Stars in Daytona Beach, FL at Tir Na Nog Irish Pub. Thanks to those who made it out to the shows and hope to see you when I return.
I have a couple of Chicago-area shows at Moe's Tavern and Cigars & Stripes next week. I'll follow with a visit to Oshkosh. Wisconsin. All new venues to play and am looking forward to those performances.
Looking forward to heading down to Florida for a few shows. Orlando will be up first as I return to Natura Coffee & Tea to play a solo acoustic show. I remember having a good show there last time around. The next show is in Gainesville at The World of Beer. I always enjoying playing a new venue. On July 11th, I'll be at the Mill Top Tavern in St. Augustine, which is becoming a favorite stop. The Florida show will be in Daytona Beach at Tir Na Nog.
Hoping for some good weather, seeing old friends, and making new ones. Hope to see you out at the shows!
Just recently made it back to Nashville after heading west to Memphis and Tahlequah, OK. I was at an old familiar favorite in Memphis at Java Cabana in the Cooper-Young area part of town. The coffee shop has a funky vibe to it and the owner and staff are always great each time I go.
After Memphis, I headed further west eventually in the Ozarks winding through narrow, curvy roads and found myself in Oklahoma for the first time in a city named Tahlequah. This city is the center of the Cherokee Nation and the downtown was linked with store fronts and restaurants. My show went well at The Branch, also located in downtown Tahlequah. I hope to return to that part of the country as I found it to have a beautiful countryside and a culture that was completely new for me to experience.
